Overview

About This Tour

The Langtang Gosaikunda Lake Trek is a perfect blend of spiritual significance, alpine adventure, and raw Himalayan beauty. This 7-day journey takes you from the vibrant streets of Kathmandu to the sacred high-altitude lakes of Gosaikunda (4,380m), revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. Starting with a scenic drive to Dhunche, the trek gradually ascends through lush pine forests, Tamang villages, cascading waterfalls, and dramatic mountain landscapes. Along the trail, you’ll experience the warm hospitality of local communities, explore ancient monasteries like Sing Gompa (Chandanbari), and witness breathtaking views of Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and surrounding peaks. The highlight of the trek is the arrival at Gosaikunda Lake, a sacred alpine lake believed to have been created by Lord Shiva. Surrounded by rugged Himalayan terrain and serene glacial waters, the area offers a deeply peaceful and spiritual experience. The return journey follows the same scenic route back to Dhunche before driving to Kathmandu, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Nepal’s natural and cultural richness. This trek is ideal for adventure seekers, spiritual travelers, and nature lovers looking for a moderate Himalayan trek with deep cultural meaning.
