Begin your trek by climbing steadily through the dense forest, with regular acclimatisation stops to ensure a comfortable pace. The trail winds its way up to Chandanbari, also known as Sing Gompa, a charming village nestled in the heart of the Langtang National Park, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Continue your ascent above the forest, as the trail opens up to reveal breathtaking views of the Ganesh Himal and Langtang ranges. The scenic landscape unfolds with each step, offering a glimpse into the unique flora and fauna of the region, as you make your way to Lauribina, a picturesque village perched on a ridge.

Ascend carefully past smaller alpine lakes, as the trail leads you to the sacred shores of Gosainkunda Lake, situated in a dramatic basin at 4,380 metres. Take time to reflect on the spiritual significance of this site, surrounded by the majestic Himalayas, and soak in the serene atmosphere, before spending the night near the lake or at a lower lodge, depending on the safest available option.

Retrace your steps along the pilgrim trail, passing through Lauribina and Chandanbari, as you make your way back to Dhunche. The guide will set a comfortable pace, ensuring a safe and enjoyable descent, with regular stops to take in the stunning views and scenery, as the landscape unfolds in reverse.
