Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we will transfer to our hotel and spend the day at leisure. In the afternoon, we will have a pre-trek briefing and gear check. We will also visit the famous Thamel district, a hub for trekkers and travelers, to stock up on last-minute supplies and gear.
Today, we will fly to Pokhara, a stunning lakeside town nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. After checking into our hotel, we will take a scenic boat ride on Phewa Lake, the second-largest lake in Nepal. We will also explore the nearby temples and markets, taking in the sights and sounds of this vibrant town.

The best time to go on the Mardi Himal Trek is from September to November and from March to May, when the weather is clear and the temperatures are mild. Avoid trekking during the monsoon season (June to August) or the winter months (December to February), when the trails can be slippery and the temperatures can drop to below freezing.
